In kindergarten, we are using this catchy tune to learn the difference between high and low sounds! We even used the glockenspiels to play high and low notes with our singing. When we move to this song, we clap above our heads on the words "high-de-high" and clap down low by our knees for "low-de-low." Here are the words and a recording of what the melody sounds like so you can sing it with us at home!
I'm singin' high-de-high,
I'm singing' low-de-low.
I'm singin' high-de-high,
I'm singing' low-de-low.
Then I point my fingers down
And I turn all around.
I'm singin' high-de-high,
I'm singing' low-de-low.
I'm singin' high-de-high,
I'm singing' low-de-low.
I'm singing' low-de-low.
I'm singin' high-de-high,
I'm singing' low-de-low.
Then I point my fingers down
And I turn all around.
I'm singin' high-de-high,
I'm singing' low-de-low.
I'm singin' high-de-high,
I'm singing' low-de-low.
